Written by BeatSoc • Posted in Blog • No Comments

Yeah kids this Friday our good friend and previous  special guest  JAMES ASQUITH, head honcho of STREETS OF BEIGE are assembling a spectacular alignment of the best house acts this side of the Atlantic! This is there first house bash of the year and I believe thats its gonna be a big’un and all just in time for the Royal Wedding!!

READERS THIS IS GONNA BE LEGEND….WAIT FOR IT….DARY!

“We’ll be riding a musical journey through NY, Chicago, Detroit, Berlin, Mannheim and South-East London to bring you the tightest 4/4 gems. And throwing in some classic Beige disco and bass for good measure.”

Featuring:

BLACK JAZZ CONSORTIUM (Soul People Music) -
Fred P, aka Black Jazz Consortium, should need little introduction given that his staggering set of releases have enraptured the house scene with his organic, hardware-driven cuts. His second LP, Structure, catapulted his vintage-tinged sound deeper into the hearts and minds of the house world and cemented Fred P as one of the weightiest post-millennial deep house talents.

the line up includes:

BRASSICA (Dissident/Relish) -
After two one-sided 12″‘s outed the rising Brassica as an elusive yet seasoned producer, he my have just penned the most ground-breaking ghost-of-rave house track of the last 20 years in the eerily powerful Lydden Circuit. And with his live set racheting up the gear levels with analogue galore, be prepared for a beat bending showcase far beyond his years.

DROP/DEAD -
The Heathrow resident Drop/Dead may have stirred up hype everywhere from XLR8R to Fader and Altered Zones with his blog-bothering ‘Always Love You’, but it’s plethora of jams set for release in the summer that’ll set the taste-makers alight. Marrying a garage sensibility over a solid house foundation, we’re predicting a huge year for this young bass prodigy.

JEEKS -
Having smashed together the sounds of DJ Falcon Onra and Odyssey to stamp his own brand of disco/house/funk upon the world, Jeeks only needed to put out a 6-track bandcamp EP to let London’s dancefloors know what they have in store. Having debuted his live set at our March jaunt he’ll be heading back to similarly decapitate the Camp residents.

JAMES ASQUITH (Progress) -
Having blitzed The Black Weekend festival with a mix of deep-house and disco, our returning resident will be drawing rare joints from far beyond the public sphere. Expect your legs to be sweating to the likes of Omar-S, Missing Linkx, Storm Queen, AFMB, Dixon, Acumen & Timid Boy, Move D, Protect-U, Anthony Collins, 6th Borough Project, Martinez, Alex Niggeman, Soul Clap, Mountain People, Pearson Sound, Wolfram, Beautiful Swimmers, Instra:mental, Akufen, Recloose, Bubble Club, Tornado Wallace, Anthea & Celler, Floating Points, Milton Jackson, Pezzner, Manuel Tur, Mark E, Genny G, The Revenge, Till Von Sein, Argy, Henrik Schwarz and way too many more…
