Feb 03 WTF is DEADSTOCK33s?

So what is or who is Deadstock33s? Well as you can no doubt see by the photo it just happens to be the latest alias of dj supreme and the most suited and booted man in music: Justin Robertson!

So what’s this got to do with you?

Well any one who’s seen Justin play in either his live acts such as Lionrock and pop art renegades Thee Earls or heard any of his Revtone production work can tell you that he’s no slouch to putting it ‘out there.’

His sets are a mix of techno and electronic house, not to be mistaken with electro house (electro), in such clubs as Bugged out, Pacha (in Buenos aires not the douchy one in London) Chibuku and Fabric. He’s a highly sought after  remixer for the likes of Steve Mason, The Mystery Jets, Radio 4, Bjork, The Whip ,Cherry Ghost and Felix Da Housecat!! But that’s just the tip of that well styled ice burg.

Under his new moniker Deadstock33s Justin has already had critical acclaim for his remixes for Erol Alkan, Boysnoize, Stopmakingme, The Mystery Jets, Shadowdancer and In Flagranti to name but a few! As a true modernist Justin’s latest foray into the music scene provides a new and intriguing take on “the dance floor,” his new production takes simple genres like disco, house and the electronic and marries them with psychedelia and proto house making it all seem so lively and instinctive. Just listen to the tracks I’ve posted below and you be the judge of it all!
